Virtus exists to provide a safe, respectful, and supportive community where athletes and coaches can build basketball profiles, communicate, share achievements, and grow the game. These Community Guidelines explain the behavior expected of everyone who uses Virtus. By using Virtus, you agree to follow these Guidelines and our Terms of Service. Our first priority is protecting our community, especially younger athletes.
1. Who These Guidelines Apply To
These Guidelines apply to every Virtus user, including athletes and coaches. Adults interacting with younger athletes are expected to model appropriate behavior and may be held to a higher standard.

Virtus is built around sportsmanship, respect, and player development.
3. Protecting Young Athletes
Virtus has zero tolerance for behavior that exploits, threatens, or endangers minors. Grooming, sexual communication with minors, requesting explicit images, sharing child sexual abuse material, encouraging secret conversations with minors, or attempting to move conversations off-platform for inappropriate purposes are strictly prohibited. Virtus may suspend or permanently terminate accounts and notify appropriate authorities where required by law.
4. Respect Other Users
Do not harass, bully, intimidate, threaten, shame, or humiliate another user. Constructive coaching is encouraged. Personal attacks are not.
5. Hate Speech
Virtus prohibits content that attacks or demeans individuals based on race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, disability, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or other protected characteristics.
6. Violence
Do not threaten, encourage, glorify, or promote violence. Credible threats may be referred to law enforcement.
7. Sexual Content
Virtus is a basketball community. Sexually explicit content, pornography, sexual solicitation, and content involving minors are prohibited and may result in immediate account termination.
8. Be Honest
Do not impersonate another person, create fake accounts, misrepresent achievements, upload false statistics, or submit fraudulent verification information.
9. Privacy
Respect the privacy of other users. Do not post another person's personal information or upload photos or videos without appropriate permission.
10. Spam and Scams
Do not send spam, impersonate recruiters, scam athletes, request money under false pretenses, distribute malware, or collect account credentials.
11. Appropriate Content
Content shared on Virtus should relate to basketball, athletics, or the user's athletic profile. Illegal content, pornography, graphic violence, copyrighted material you do not own, and malicious software are prohibited.
12. Reporting Problems
Report violations using the in-app reporting tools or by emailing safety@virtus-hq.com. Reports involving potential harm to a minor receive the highest priority.
13. Enforcement
Virtus may remove content, issue warnings, limit account functionality, suspend accounts, permanently terminate accounts, or report illegal activity to law enforcement where appropriate.
14. Appeals
Appeals may be submitted to appeals@virtus-hq.com. Virtus will review the available information and may affirm, modify, or reverse the original decision.
15. Emergencies
If someone is in immediate danger, contact 911 or your local emergency services before contacting Virtus. Virtus is not an emergency response service.
